I am pursuing a PhD at Portland State University in the Systems & Network Lab (SyN) and my thesis advisor is Professor Wu-chi Feng. Before coming to PSU, I was an undergraduate at the University of Waterloo where I received an Honours Co-op Bachelor of Math/Computer Science. I started my grad school career at the Oregon Graduate Institute. My research interests are in networking and computer graphics, specifically, MMO scalability problems, volume rendering, Internet measurement, network gaming, computer security, multimedia applications, graphics streaming and packet classification/caching. I am currently working on algorithms to address virtual world scaling problems, in partial fulfillment of a doctorate in computer science. I am expected to graduate shortly before the earth crashes into the sun. |
